A New Home and a Day in Salt Lake

It felt like we blinked and we were headed on to another adventure. I got a job and a week later we were moving to our new home on BYU campus.

While I was learning the ropes, Mister and the kids spent a day at the zoo.

This booklet went everywhere with her!

I love these little friends!

We finished a beautiful day at temple square!

Our Summer Home

In between vacation with family and the start of the school year, we had a little adventure in our very own, TWO BEDROOM apartment.

We lived on the second floor of a little complex/house with a window unit for AC (which mean 80 degrees was a good day in our home) and a swing set in the yard.

It was short lived, but we made great memories in that little home.

Cake decorating with friends we love!

Dressing like cows for Chick-fil-a!

The cutest cow ever? I think so!
Drinking green smoothies!

Admiring temples (requested by Miss A)!

It was the perfect summer home to play with neighbors, have picnics in the grass, and visit the library across the street.

A Swim at Bear Lake

Bear Lake was heaven on earth. The warm weather and shallow water= perfection for kiddos and their families.

We spent the day playing in the water, picnicking, treasure hunting, and so much more.

Our solution to keeping Brother happy and in one place
Oh, he loved it. Almost as much as I love this baby!

The kids played
and played
and played!

The big kids played just as much. Somehow we managed to swim out to  the water trampolines where we slid, and were pushed off jumped, and enjoyed. We played on seadoos and, best of all, relaxed and talked together.

Their very own pool!

Sunscreen re-application was a necessity as we literally played all day.
It was so worth it!

Family Carnival

Our Mac family gets together every year for a Family Reunion. We people know how to have fun!

This year we met at Bear Lake, stayed in two cabins, and loved every minute together.

As part of the festivities, the older cousins put on a carnival for all of the kids. We had a grand time!

Miss A stuck with Aunt Jess all night. Those two are the best of friends.

This face. It says it all!

RZR Riding

Our favorite part of the Mac Family Vacation was our stay at the lake house in Sagle.
It was glorious.
We relaxed and played and together-ed.

While there, Mister's highlight might have been the RZR trip.

Mama Mac played with the babies and the boys went to play on the mountain. A few of the girls went for a short ride and got a few pictures, too!

It looks nice and tame here but believe me, it was kinda crazy!

We had so much fun! I was not at all freaked out riding on winding dirt roads on the side of a mountain...

The boys came home dusty and full of smiles.

Happy Birthday Miss A!

We were so lucky to have family in town for Miss A's birthday.  We have a Two year old? That's a thing to celebrate!

Dinner at Gloria's Little Italy
Good friends celebrated with us!
This cutie was so happy to be with people she loves!

Thanks to Pinterest, we made a strawberry Hello Kitty cake per birthday girl orders.

This girl is the best sister and sweetest daughter. She LOVES people, trying new things, and clothes. Lately she's been in to swinging and swimming. It feels like yesterday we were holding her for the first time. Every day since I think "Really? This girl is MINE? How did I get so lucky?!" Happy birthday to the daughter who made us parents!

We got to celebrate times TWO because Aunt A was headed to the Missionary Training Center!

We sure will miss her, but are so excited that she gets to tell people about the happiness that being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints brings.

She'll spend a few weeks at the MTC learning Portuguese and about teaching, then she'll head out!

Here's to growing up (way too fast) and new adventures!
